ASHI PALS program is intended for emergency personnel in intensive care or critical care departments and emergency medical providers responsible for the well-being of infants and children.  The overall goal of the PALS Course is to provide healthcare professionals with didactic and psychomotor skills training in the recognition and treatment of conditions that may lead to cardiopulmonary arrest in an infant or child.

ASHI PALS incorporates both pre-hospital and hospital management of pediatric emergencies and reflects the 2015 guidelines for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care.

Continuing Educations Hours (CEH) for EMS professionals are available for ASHI PALS from Health & Safety Institute (HSI), a Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) Accredited Organization.
