Over the past 400 million years, spiders have come to populate almost every environment on earth, evolving and surviving while countless other creatures have perished. This program offers a close-up look at spiders in their natural habitat, examines their reproductive and instinctual behaviors, and shows how they spin their webs. Students will also learn how spiders, through survival strategies, adaptation and instinct, have succeeded in becoming an important part of our global ecology.
